There are now over 5 million internet users in Singapore. 91% of the population use a smartphone to browse the internet, and 71% use laptops or desktops. Despite the internet being part of our everyday lives, many are not alert to the danger cybercriminals pose. The Cyber Security Agency of Singapore tasked ZOO Group to help local individuals and businesses understand how they can be vulnerable to cyberattacks.
We used the theme of a carnival game to visualise how everyone has something of value to a cybercriminal. Like targets in a shooting gallery, we can be easily taken down if we do not take appropriate precautions with our internet use. Following our integrated marketing campaign, the masses were educated on the importance of maintaining high standards of cybersecurity and were equipped with practical tools to safeguard their cyberspaces.
