The
Process

Following the success of the ‘Let your feelings show’ platform, Pelikan Artline asked us to extend this positioning into a multi channel campaign, around the contextually relevant back to school period. The goal of this campaign was to increase awareness of the products, to drive sales.

“Let your feelings show”

The idea was for local artists to let their feelings show using illustrations created with Artline pens that were showcased in near store locations, online and on social media. The campaign encouraged viewers to let their own feelings show via an online competition, with a prize of winning their artwork on a billboard.

We found and commissioned local artists to create their artwork with Artline pens and send them to us. We then animated each of the different pieces of artwork to suit digital environments to make them as eye catching as possible.

The
Effect

The creative variations meant that the campaign stayed fresh and we were able to optimise versions on social throughout the campaign. Ongoing optimisations yielded a 45% incremental gain from start of campaign.
